From what University are you?

We are all senior electrical engineering students at Texas A&M University at Qatar.

 

 

 

 

 

 

What do you hope to achieve?

​

The group hopes that the project would make the patients more comftorable, thus it will provide them with a more safer and less hazardous envirnoment to be treated in.

 

 

 

Who are you working with?

​

We are currently working with Dr. Qaraqe, who is a Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering. In addition to Dr. Kashef, who is a Postdorctroal Research Associate in the Electrical and Computer Engineering department.

 

 

 

What are you going to work on?

​

As stated in the project description, our ultimate goal is to send data thrrough the light after recieving the signal from a heartbeat sensor device using LEDs as transmitters in closed systems, such as hospitals.

 

 

 

When are you expected to demonstrate your project?

​

The exact date is still not known, but it would be approximatly around April 2015 .
